4 off days straight is simply heaven.

Woke up later than usual yesterday and took my time eating my breakfast and washing up. I decided to 'braid' my hair myself. Wore my green (current fav colour!) Topman tee and Topshop MOTO shorts! Got them at a great deal! This shall be my everyday Poly outfit. Kekeke.

I met Roger on the train and I decided to accompany him for awhile since Guowen was still at the gym. Met up with Guowen and the rest at Safra Mount Faber and we went to town to shop :)

Went to Mo's house today to play Band Hero. Had fun watching Celine change Niveetha's difficulty to 'Expert' and then laughing at Niveetha's hilarious expressions. I missing them already!

I also became the princess because Mo and Celine painted my nails in preparation for CNY :') They did a great job!!! Even my cousin's wife thought I did my nails at the shop. If you are wondering, the fortune cookie is from Jaslin, owner of Goldbarx. Do check her blogshop out! :)

USS was great (as usual)!!!

When Celine first saw Guosheng, she thought that the trip would be awkward as Guosheng looked very serious.

We LOL-ED most of the time. We went on Battlestar Galactica countless times consecutively and we even took the last row of Human right after we had our lunch. Yes, it's proven. The last row is wayyyyy more thrilling than the first row.

All in all, I really enjoyed myself and we really made full use of our $68! I was still very worried about the fact that we were going in odd number. Seems like having sociable friends solves everything! :)

Guosheng's POP

Went over to Guowen's house for a stay over. Woke up at 6 30AM for breakfast. I found out that I left my DSLR's memory card in my desktop and had a morning panic attack. Luckily for me, Guowen's mum found a spare memory card laying in the house. *phewwwww*

We reached the floating platform a little late and it was super crowded. There were human jams everywhere and the smell of men's perspiration was so strong. HAHAHA.

The sun was scorching and many people were trying to shield themselves using the pamphlets. I gave up because my thighs and arms were burning and I see no point saving my face. LOL.

After the usual talks, prize presentation and songs, we finally got to see Guosheng!

Here's Shi Hai together with his brother who was passing out today too. Looks like quite a number of people had their POP today! Including Enqi's brother and uncle.

These are Guocheng's extremely supportive friends! They came in a big group despite the horrible weather. Aww :') Secondary school friends are still the best!

Guowen, his parents and I decided to wait for Guosheng at a hotel near the floating platform. It was kinda weird seeing a number of soldiers walking around the lobby of a 5-star hotel. The staff there were staring at them most of the time. *laughs at their pokerface*

Went back to Guowen's house for steamboat and a nap. Joined the guys for a little tiny bit of street soccer (I was jogging throughout, I swear) and then steamboat again.

I'm so fat :'(

Don't Wanna Miss Another Holiday

Met up with Qianyan and her friends today for a kite-flying session and we had pot luck.

It was a really simple and successful (due to the awesome weather and company) picnic. Even though I am not familiar with Qianyan's guy friends, we still had a lot of fun when it comes to charades!

The guys are super on!! They actually cooked 'black noodles' (maggie mee + black sauce) and spaghetti. How thoughtful! I mean, guys don't usually offer to cook right? :/

I brought along my reel but I forgotten to bring my kite *rolls eyes at self* So I went to the shop @ Barrage to get a new kite. I always thought they will overcharge stuff in places like this but the kites there are actually quite cheap! Got my 12-meters long kite for only $20!

Other than the sudden flooding of kids from some secondary school for an hour or so, it was rather peaceful there. I better grab this chance to sharpen my kite-flying skills when no one is around! ;)

Results are releasing on 9th January. I'm feeling nervous and skeptical about receiving my results. What if I don't score less than 10 for my L1B4? What if I don't get any As? How many people will I disappoint? :( SIGHHHHH.

Year 2011 was indeed a very interesting year. It was a year where I got to learn many life lessons and experience many new things.

My first farewell assembly.

My first prom.

My first farewell party.

Oh well, we all have to move on with our lives. I'm glad to have my teammates, childhood friends, family and not to forget, my boyfriend along with me all these while.

Especially the girls from netball. I spent most of my secondary school life with them. Even though we have graduated from AMKSS, we will always be the best team and always as crazy as before. ♥

Let's all embrace the new year and the new challenges we will meet. Remember, everything happens for a reason. Every downfall is a lesson given by god.

Netball Farewell Party

Woke up at 7am due to a horrible flu. Spent the next hour blowing my nose and the next few hours sleeping. Took a bus to Qianyan's house to meet the girls! Alicia was labelled 'Late Queen' and I was honoured to be the 'Late Goddess'. LOL.

Helped the girls with the photo albums that will be given to the teachers and Ms Huang. Got bored after awhile, so we decided to paint our nails.

Headed over to Bbuble K for some snacks and bubble tea. We also played a board game known as 'Cranium' followed by Charades.

Charades is like our all-time favourite game! We couldn't stop laughing.

Valerie is also a fucking tyco kid. I got 'Madonna' and could only show them that the word is a singer and has short hair. Valerie then said 'Madonna' casually and we all shit brix. The worse thing was that Valerie didn't even know that Madonna has short hair. HAHAHAHA.

Took a cab to Yishun Sapphire @ around 6pm.

We were extremely disappointed when we found out that Mrs Ong couldn't make it as she was very sick. I still had hopes that she would surprise us :'( Anyway, the farewell party went on as per normal.

Ate a lot of BBQ food that was covered with either squid sauce or charcoal (I seriously have no idea) We then had another round of charades!

I really really love the deck of poker cards the Sec 3 made for us.

Every card had a different photo and our pictures of our favourite character is at the back of every card. Like for me, they printed the Autobot logo at the back of the card and Justin Bieber for Celine's deck.

I truly appreciate the efforts the juniors put in in this event. Even though the presence of Mrs Ong and Ms Huang would have been so so so much better, I believe we all had fun.

Dear Sec 3 who may see this, please do not feel upset. I know you girls tried your best. Please cheer up and don't feel sorry alright? :) You girls are the sweetest batch of juniors and I thank god for giving me the chance to play with you all. Do your best and don't let us down!!

Smells Like Love

My boy is finally back and he won't be going overseas any time soon. Having him by my side is the the best Christmas present. I was shocked when he brought me out to shop for my present with a budget that was beyond my imagination. He gave me a Burberry wallet which we took quite some time to choose ^^ Thanks darling! *sends millions of kisses*

Went home after that to change and meet up with my cousins!

This is probably the first time we plan an outing among ourselves. Even though we didn't get the full attendance, we had lots of fun!

The wind was coming from all directions and it was hard to fly the kites. Pookey is small so I managed to get it up in the sky after numerous attempts. Unfortunately, my cousin's gigantic octopus kite was too heavy to get up. Would love to see that beautiful kite in the sky!

Oh well, I believe that there will be a next time :)

3 Days with Guowen

Fetched Guowen from the airport @ 4:40AM. It was great to hug him again after 10 weeks. Went to his house to sleep. Woke up later in the morning and we headed to Chinatown!

I went crazy after I saw the bokeh. Spend the rest of the day with Guowen. Doesn't matter if we weren't doing anything, as long as I'm with him, it's fine :)

This is the day I have been waiting for! It's an early celebration for our 20th monthsary. This time, Guowen suggested to go to Jewel Box for dinner. He is such a darling. He knows that I love that place but the food there are too expensive for me.

The waitress presented me a bouquet of pink roses after she took our orders. I was shocked. LOL. This is that first time I received flowers. Aww :') Thank you Guowen!

Transformers: The Ride

Met up with Cris today and we watched Already Famous! The show was average but Xiao Gui was way too cute! Cris and I were squealing whenever he smiled *heart melts*

Seewah left for her date while Cris and I chilled until she was too tired to carry on. She left and I made my way to Habourfront to meet Qianyan!

On my way there, I kept thinking about the possibility of taking a picture with Michael Bay. I was also super excited about the ride and purchasing Transformers stuff!!

Excited us!!!!!! :)

Saw this 'prince' on our way to USS. He was cute and friendly. If no Michael Bay, still got prince. Not bad lah :P

I was starving and we were early so we decided to settle down at Big Easy. I was unhappy with the service and it seems to me that the waitress was looking down on Qianyan and I. Maybe I was too sensitive but I didn't like it there. But I have to admit, their Fish and Chips was very good!

After dinner we went to register and were given a VIP tag together with a Transformers lanyard (worth S$13.90) each!

I WAS SUPER ELATED.

Qianyan was so embarrassed to be with me because I was chanting "I'm so excited" and jumping around. The crowd stared and smiled awkwardly. LOL.

I squealed again when the gates opened and I charged into one of the shops selling Transformers merchandise. Qianyan had to pulled me out. Now I'm laughing at myself while that scene is going through my mind again. HAHAHA.

Met the champion of the competition! He was very friendly and was advertising his hair tattoo artist.

Mad cool right?! A pity that I blinked :(

The premiere started with a talk and then Michael Bay entered the scene in Bumblebee with all the explosives and smoke.

THE LAUNCH OF TRANSFORMERS: THE RIDE!!!!

The ride was super realistic! I felt hurt watching how the autobots suffer as they tried to protect Evac (which contains us and the Allspark) :( Everything - the way the simulator moves, the water, the heat, the changing of scenes was AMAZING.

Please go for the ride, it cannot be missed. It's the first in the world too ;)

After the ride and shopping at the 'Supply Vault', Qianyan and I walked around to search for Optimus and Bumblebee. We were extremely lucky because we saw them walking out of the room. However, the staff told us that they have to pictures with Michael Bay first.

I spammed photos of the 3 of them because I thought I would not be able to get a picture with them.

(just posting 1 :P)

Michael Bay was surrounded by bouncer-looking bodyguards and I thought "That's it, no more picture with Michael Bay :("

BUT

I GOT TO TAKE A PICTURE WITH HIM OMFGGGGGGG

Me: *waves frantically* "Can I have a picture with you?"

Michael: "How about me asking you if I can have a picture with you instead?" (or something along that line)

Me & Qianyan: "Oh my god oh my god oh my god..."

It's probably the first time I have ever been so starstruck. Being able to talk to an award-winning director was... so surreal. My dream came true.

I have this habit of checking my emails on my phone in the morning when I wake up. Usually there will be a few newsletters from various blogshops or Deals.com.sg...

Today, I received (probably) the best email ever!

I ACTUALLY GOT INTO THE TOP 10!!!!!!

It was a pleasant surprise. Many of the other 'recruits' had over 500 votes and my photo had around 300 votes. I kept telling myself not to be disappointed if I didn't make it.

Maybe my circle of friends isn't big enough or maybe I am not popular enough in comparison to the other 'recruits' but I am extremely thankful to EVERYONE who made the effort to like my photo and some darlings who helped to share :')

YOU are the one that made one of my dreams come true. After all, I am in love with frictional characters and I never thought that I will be so physically close to my idols.

The first ever Transformers World built in Singapore. Yes. FIRST EVER IN SINGAPORE. I am so so so lucky :')

Prom 2011

How was prom, graduating students of year 2011?

The day started off ~~really~~ FUCKING bad for me..

Woke up with swollen eyes
Had to visit the doctor = $30
Couldn't apply make-up
Didn't know how to use the hair curler
Hair was fucking screwed
Realised that my dress is sheer under strong flash

It ruined my mood. I had to constantly remind myself not to flare up at innocent people like my dad and not to cry because it will only worsen the condition. Decided to just live with it and told myself to enjoy myself and not bother about my looks! (Rather difficult actually)

It was raining heavily and luckily for Qianyan and me, Cris's dad agreed to send us to Concorde Hotel. Saw Celine and the rest at the lobby and we took some photos. It was great seeing them! My mood got much better around with all of them ^v^

I know I look weird in the photos. I can't seem to smile right. My eyes were much better already but it was still a little red during prom.

The food wasn't as good as I've expected. As I am allergic to seafood, I could not eat half of the dishes served. However, the events that night was great. They were entertaining and hilarious. I never knew there are so many hidden dancers in my cohort. LOL.

64'07 Gathering

(Sorry for posting this up much later than the previous post! Was playing tetris :P)

After my late lunch with Celine and Mo, I rushed home to bathe and went out again to meet my primary school mates!

I never thought I would be able to have such gathering with my ex classmates because we were not that close when we were in Anderson. We finally had a gathering after our O levels!!!

Everyone changed a lot, especially the guys. Even Daniel said: "I remember last time when I talk to you, I need to look up to you. Now.." *looks down* :( The guys kept saying that I became short. Please lor, it's more of them shooting up so much lah!!

We had buffet dinner at Sakura and it was Mrs Yeo treat! Poor Mrs Yeo, she was sick yet she still made her way down to Yio Chu Kang to entertain us :')

It was Andrea's birthday and we had a mini celebration! Andrea is still as shy as before. Haha!

Elizabeth hasn't change much :P

This is Zi En! We were always caught for our hair last time (This photo explains it all HAHAHA). We did a lot of shit together last time and always got into trouble together. Our name is also similar, that's why a lot of teachers remember both of us :P

This is Roger. We were so close last time that we had to lie to all of our friends that we were cousins so that they would stop teasing us of being together. The lie was pretty successful because Zi En only found out that it was fake during the gathering. HAHAHA.

After dinner, we had a little chat with Mrs Yeo. We then decided to go to Kpool for a few rounds. Sadly, some of the people left immediately after the dinner :(

Even though not many people went to Kpool, we had a tons of fun. I laughed almost every few minutes.

Gosh, this gathering made me miss primary school life a lot too. I remember during our Chinese class, my clique will always run out through the back door and we will hang out at the staircase until some teacher finds us. I remember buying ice pop after school (it was only 10c then) and taking bus back with Roger everyday. I remember the fights I had with my male classmates and getting kicked out of the class. Ahhhhhh. Memories :')

HSBC Tree Top Walk

As my post-exam life becomes more mundane after every passing day, the idea of going on a tree top walk hit me hard last night. It's free and it's also helps to burn some fats, so why not?

Called up Mo and she agreed to go! We got Celine together too :)

We set off @ 12am from AMK bus interchange, taking 166 to MacRitchie. Even before we step into the dense forest, we were all complaining that we were tired already. LOL.

There was this time where I shouted "Squirrel!" and both Celine and Mo got a shock and screamed. *shakes head*

FINALLY

We reached the bridge (after 2 hours+)!!!! If you are wondering what the thing at the left corner of our group photo is, it is actually the park ranger's finger :/

The view was magnificent. My phone's camera did no justice to how beautiful the view was man.

I personally feel that the 2 hours of torturous walk under the sun and rain was all worth it after I saw the view. It was cooling up there too. I like how the bridge would shake at every step and how close we were to the forest's canopy. If you are physically fit to walk 10km, do try this trail. Trust me, the suspension bridge is worth it!

After we reached the end of the bridge, we happily pushed open the gate only to see another mofo long flight of stairs. *stabs heart*

Just look at Celine's super 'buei song' (not happy) face and dying Mo.

This was followed by a long trail again and then another ridiculously long flight of stairs. Fortunately, this flight of stairs is going downwards.

At this point of time, Celine is almost breaking down because she missed her breakfast.

We managed to get out of the forest with the park ranger's help. After walking a distance, we found ourselves in Singapore Island Country Club.

Yes yes, this is a club for members that are fucking rich (and arrogant) only. We were too tired to care and had our water and toilet break there. Everything was going smoothly until this auntie came and questioned about our presence. Omg. The thought of her really makes my blood boil *throws fists in the air*

Anyway, after walking for another hour and almost getting hit by speeding cars several times, we managed to get out of that CC to the main road. Celine screamed when she saw a building because it was a sign of civilisation. LOL.

We hopped on 132 and went for some good western food. We probably looked like people who hadn't ate for a couple of weeks because the waiter was staring at the 3 of us gobbling our food down.

All in all, the trip made me realise the importance of food, transport and electricity. I can never imagine myself living in the forest for 3 days. Call me weak but I really doubt that I can tahan the environment.

Met up with Weiliang, Zhuoxiu, Lianhuang and Shihai today for some kite flying! It has been quite some time since I last met them. It was great seeing them again!

Mr Tay Weiliang has invested quite a lot in his very first kite so I expected him to be enthusiastic about the idea of going to Barrage. I was right as he agreed right away when I suggested to fly kites ;)

He was being an asshole throughout, laughing at poor Pookey for being small.

I WONDER WHOSE KITE SO BIG AND ATTENTION SEEKING YET CANNOT FLY AT NIGHT LOR. *COUGH COUGH*

Anyway, the weather was great. Pookey flew rather high. Even though the sky was dark, it didn't rain. Just a slight drizzle when I just reach the place.

While I was flying my kite, 2 kids ran towards me and called me "Jie jie (big sister)" affectionately. Initially, I thought they recognised the wrong person but I found out that they were the children of a kite supplier. Weiliang was chatting with that lady and I guess the kids were bored so they came to look for me.

SUPER CUTE RIGHT?!!!!

They borrowed my phone and DSLR and snapped away. They would run towards after every shot and ask if it is nice. I could tell that they really love photography!

At a point of time, I thought I would never get my phone and DSLR back because they seemed to be very engrossed with their equipment. To my surprise, when I asked if I could take back my stuff, they were very willing to return and even thanked me. SUPER OBEDIENT LAH. Most kids will throw tantrum when they don't get what they want. Ekkk!

That's about it! Can't wait for Guowen to be back. I really miss him sooOOOOoooOOOOOoo much :( Gosh. I wonder what will happen to me if he needs to go on even longer overseas trips. I might consider going with him lor. *firm nod*

If you have been following me on Twitter, you would have know that I went to Zirca last night. I realised the importance of my DSLR there :(

Many things happened last night, but I'm glad that we managed to solve the problem. Peace out!

So anyway, we got to go in first because of our connections *evil laughs* It was quite boring at first and I swear I almost fell asleep. Things heated up when the club got crowded and Qianyan and I went to the dance floor to... dance.. Awkward saying that cause I can't dance.

Saw A LOT of familiar faces. Looks like Smoove is a really popular event!

Had fun creating our own dance with Qianyan and her friends (really cute bunch of girls) and cheering Aaron the giant dancer on. A few times I died and sat on the sofa but the girls will pull me off the sofa to dance again. I was a dancing zombie. LOL. I find the random dance battles really cool too! A New Phase

I managed to build a fort with all my assessment books, worksheets and past year papers.

It's time to say goodbye to my fun-filled secondary school and move into a new phase of life. I'm looking forward to the change and making new friends. However, I still believe that all the friends I made in my secondary school life will never be replaced ;)

Dyed my hair @ Hair Journal yesterday. It wasn't really what I expected but I'm pleased with the results. My hair is currently brown and yellow highlights. Pretty cool. Gonna have a hard time maintaining the bleached part though :(

Spent my post O life mostly with my cousin Derek and his wife. We were out 1 day and we discovered this!

I like how my birthday went this year. It was simple and I truly appreciate the surprises my friends gave me ♥ A big thank you to everyone who wished me a happy birthday!

So on the 6 November, at 12am. I received a sms from Eileen asking me to open my front door. I found Wendy and her right outside my house! It was a really pleasant surprise! I'm so touched by the efforts they put in. Eileen was shivering so bad because of the rain :( Even though they had only a couple of hours, they managed to bake 4 beautiful and delicious cupcakes! The cards they made were really cute too ;)

Woke up late in the morning as I spent the early hours of my birthday with Rachel, having heart-to-heart talk. Mo, Tristan and Jennifer came over to celebrate! I really need to thank them as I was rotting in front of my computer.

Thank you for the cake! Mo, I know you are the mastermind of this, I love you!!!! :D

Went over to Bishan Active to play basketball with them. Saw Fabian there too! The feeling of playing on court was great. I miss running around. My fitness deteriorated, even Fab says that I became very slow on court :( Anyway, Thank you Mo, Tristan and Jennifer for accompanying me through the afternoon! I really can't wait to play basketball with you three again (hopefully I will be playing 'legally' then).

The next day, I met up with Valerie to study for our Chinese paper. She is an amazing Chinese teacher and she has helped me A LOT. I actually wrote 3+ pages for my compo (usually it's 1+/2 pages)! THANK YOU VALERIE.

So anyway, after her friends left for their Art paper, Valerie decided to come to my house. When I opened my front door. I saw Qianyan in my house, taking a video of me and then... I saw Alicia and Mo holding buns and giving me the Buddha look. Jennifer was hiding behind the door and she sprayed pinkish stuff on me!! HAHAHA.

IT WAS A FUCKING SUCCESSFUL SURPRISE.

I swear Valerie is a fucking good actress. LOL.

Today marks the end of 'Hell Week' because all the major papers are over! What's left for me now is History, Chinese and all the MCQs. *3 cheers*

Went out with Cris after our paper today. My plan to surprise her failed :(

Anyway, went to Wheelock to get Cris's headphones and then collected Cris's belated birthday present (a T-shirt from Indiesin.com) at TheBlackground. We settled down outside Far East Plaza where I took a video of Cris's reaction when she saw the T-shirt! I was so so so relieved when I saw her reaction :') Glad you like it Cris! Not forgetting to mention that the T-shirt is from Celine, Jennifer, Alicia and me!

Spent our aftermoon trolling in Toys R Us. Cris then abandon me and luckily for me, my classmates were in town so I joined them! Had fun window shopping at Ion. The boys are so screwed for prom. Their stuff are so expensive! Buying a decent blazer is enough to kill.

As for me, I have already gotten my dress for prom. It is nothing like what I posted on Facebook.. Never knew that it is so hard to find an affordable red maxi dress :(

I struggled to take a normal photo and freaked out when I had to step out to help with the group shots. After all, I was not using my own DSLR. Thank you Qianyan, for lending me your 500D together with your 2 other lenses :)

After much trail and error and with the help of Derek, I managed to capture decent shots. Honestly speaking, I am not quite happy with how the photos turned out to be. They all seem so.. Lifeless. I need more courage to take natural shots and not ninja-ing behind pillars and running away when it's too awkward.

Anyway, I wish my dear cousin, Constance, a happy 21st birthday! I bet you are really tired after entertaining groups after groups of family and friends. How time flies! I still remember the times when I stayed over at your house and played with your collection of soft toys. You are an adult now and I know you are more than capable of managing your life on your own now. I hope you will graduate from NTU with flying colours and find a good job! :)

We cried, we hugged, we smiled and we danced.

How time flies. I am no longer part of Ang Mo Kio Secondary school.

I still remember the very first day of school, when I wore Wendy's uniform because I haven gotten mine, I hanged out with Zongda and his friends (secondary 5s) and I was labelled an Ah Lian. I remember my very first PE lesson where Mr Ong said that I look very fit and send me for Volleyball and Netball second audition. I was selected by Mrs Ong. I remember the times I struggled to get my basics for netball right and how I got my first major offence.

Needless to say, the netballers played the most important part in my secondary school life, together with Cris and Joey :)

I know that when we all move on with our lives, we will never forget all the fun we had, all the silly things we did and all the tears we shed.

All the best for O levels my fellow schoolmates. Let's all bring glory back to our alma mater next year!!

Woke up 9 in the morning, feeling fresh even though it is a Saturday morning and I had less than 7 hours of sleep. BECAUSE I'M MEETING THE WANTED BAHHAHAHAHA

Honestly honestly, I'm not a hardcore fan of The Wanted before this showcase. I only like 2 of their songs - Glad you came & Heart Vacancy. So why did I bother to head down?

One day, Glenda was asking on Twitter if anyone was interested to go to their showcase because she had extra passes. I never been to a concert like this before, and since The Wanted is cool, I was thinking to myself, "Why not?" And yep, I found myself eating my breakfast under the scorching sun and waiting for 3 hours.

Sorry guys for the lack of updates :( My DSLR's memory is spoilt! I don't really like blogs without pictures, so I neglected this space. I promise, as soon as my memory card is fixed, I will bomb a lot of pictures!!!

So anyway, Derek came to my house today with my new desktop! I really love it! Some widescreen shit. I wasn't expecting anything much because I am happy as long as I have a working desktop to use. Pleasant surprise! So happy :D

I've also downloaded the Transformers theme on my Google Chrome ✌

In approximately 2 months time, I am going to graduate from this green school of mine. Time really flies :') I hope that my class will continue to hang out even after we have graduate. Even though I feel awkward sometimes, I love how enthusiastic 4/2 always is.

Went to a concert a few days back. It was under some arts appreciation thing by the school and we were 'forced' attend it. I really don't know how to appreciate such performance.. Many end up playing kart rider or dozing off a few minutes after the band started playing. The school should have allowed us to choose what kind of performance we want to watch. Most of us left during the intermission. I know we it's rude, but it's worse if we really fall asleep inside :(

I finally got the chance to wear this dress which I bought from Robotninjas last year! It stated that the dress is 31" long, but it still seems a little short on me.

Happy National Day everyone!

This holiday wasn't as productive as I've expected. Instead of studying hard for all 3 days, I ended up in EngWah watching Planet of the Apes, at Guowen's house playing Tetris, completing 3 Harry Potter books and running across Citylink Mall to catch a glimpse of the fireworks. It was rather comical, now I think about it. Haha! Thank god I have my cousin, Thomas there with me.

Guowen told me that his friend's pet Chinchilla might be pregnant. Fingers crossed! I want a pet Chinchilla :P Alright. Time to do some math before going out for my tuition. Goodbye!

My desktop is still down and the current netbook (my cousin's) that I am using cannot read my camera's memory so I still can't post pictures on Racial Harmony Day yet :( Will post it after when I get my computer fixed!

Life has been very rocky for the past few days. I worry too much about myself that I started to neglect my friends and boyfriend. I'm struggling to keep up with everyone and it has been very tiring.. On the lighter note, I've been selected for DPA interview! I want to get into Veterinary Bioscience so bad. Hope that all goes well so I will have 1 more burden off my shoulders :)

Trip to Sentosa.

Celebrated our 15th month together @ Sentosa! Woke up at 5 45am (being proud about this) to cook fried rice and prepare for the long anticipated day. Met up with Guowen at 8 00am and we took the monorail to Sentosa. Turns out, we were fucking early and the monorail was almost empty..

Reached Siloso Beach and yes, we were too early and the ticketing counter was not opened. Wandered around, staring at the poor turtles in the tiny pool outside Underwater World. We were the first to purchase the tickets and headed straight inside!!

So.. The trip to Underwater World was fun, but it also made me realise that the animals in there may not be truly happy.. I mean, they are being kept in such small aquariums (compared to the sea). I hope all the fishes, sharks and stingrays have goldfish memory so that they do not realise that they are in the same place no matter how long they have swam.

Zhuoxiu, Weiliang and Andy joined us @ the beach. We headed to Guowen's house after baking under the sun. Had a great chat with Guosheng and his friend, Setiawan about Secondary school life. Looks like we sec 4s really need to treasure every second.. All the older people are missing Secondary school life A LOT.

World Netball Championship, Finals.

Hello people! Awards Night ended couple of hours ago and I decided to grab this chance to update this blog before I jump back into the routine of studying and reading. I will be doing 2 posts. So crazy me bought the $43 netball. I have to admit, I kinda felt the pain after I bought it. However.. I choose to take it was paying for the finals ticket. So much better than to 'cry over spilled milk' lah.

Finals was SUPER exciting. I guess those who paid $140 to get the front seats did not regret. Australia and New Zealand drew TWICE and Australia scored the winning goal only at the last 5 seconds. The intensity was literally killing us. Valerie and I screamed at every turnover and yes, we were hugging each other so tightly that Valerie's pass bended :/

Through the WNC, I believe the team has bonded well with Megan (Mr & Mrs Ong's daughter). Ah yes, her actions and the way she speak is copy and paste from Mrs Ong. Think a miniature version of Mrs Ong.. Quite scary isn't she? All in all, WNC was enriching. Was kinda sad that we only caught 3 matches throughout the entire tournament.

Met up with my boyfriend on Sunday afternoon @ Somerset. You guys should really see Guowen's reaction (think a man slapping his forehead) when he heard me saying "Oh my god! There's really a flea!!!!" when we walked past Cineleisure.

Yes, I was aware that it was actually the day before prelim 1, but me needa chillax after so much studying! Heehee.

If you guys have been following me on my Twitter, you should know that my Taiwan trip was cancelled as my grandfather is hospitalised. I'm glad that he is fine now and is constantly asking everyone for a cup of Pepsi. Haha!

Went shopping with my cousins, Constance and Agnes, yesterday. It has been a long time since I last went out with them. Caught up a bit here and there. Oh! I am still trying to swallow the fact that I spent $47 at Kinokuniya.. Met up with Derek, his wife and my aunt at Chinatown for dessert before visiting my grandpa again.

Left SGH and all 3 of us crashed Derek's house. Our plan to have a study camp kinda failed. At around 3am, we all decided to hide in the guest room and gossip. And yes, the gossip session ended at 7am. 3 cheers please.

Went to Dynasty Travel agency today for our tour briefing. I swear I was super hyped up after the talk and I'm too excited about the trip now 8D

Visited tons of dog farms at Pasir Ris with Derek and his wife today. I fell in love with Beagles. They are such adorable dogs! Thank god Derek drove and we managed to visit SPCA at our last stop.

I can't help but feel so sad each time I step into the old rundown building.. I really wish I am not allergic to animal fur so at least I can help out there :(

It was our 13th month together yesterday ♥

Went to Resorts World yesterday, trying to sell away the pair of USS tickets which Guowen's dad gave to him. We didn't really want to go because it was too sudden and only both of us were going. After 3 failed attempts to sell them, we decided to go in!

Went in for 4 hours +. The queues ruined our mood. 70mins for fucking Canopy Flyer (last time, the girls got to sit it 6 times in a row leh!) We end up only catching 2 shows and going on The Revenge of the Mummy twice. I went on Battlestar Galactica Cylon! It's not so thrilling now though..

Went to godma's house in the evening with Guowen and they played mahjong. Guowen actually won both the rounds! I really hope mum will want to go Bukit Merah for yong tau foo this Saturday cause that will be like the only time mum will be near Guowen's house. Haha!

When the teacher lifted the microphone to his lips and announced that our paper is over on Friday, I cheered loudly in my heart (well.. we still have to obey the examination rules).

Ever since that moment, I didn't lay a single finger on my books until today, during my tuition.
Live was pretty carefree and happy, except for the fact that I've just swept a hundred dollars off my bank account. *heart breaks*

Anyway, I went to party with the girls on Friday!

Went for karaoke session! We screamed and shouted till our throats went hoarse. It's amazing how I still froze in the room despite me dancing around like a maddie. Definitely worth the $6 (3 hours)! They also have a really cool 1960 bakery in the complex and they sold pastry that gives off a tantalizing buttery smell. I will most probably drop by there again to buy their banana pie! Yum yum!

Met up with my 2 chao ahlians on Saturday and headed to Promenade.

FLB #6 was disastrous.

1) The tables were badly arranged resulting in major human jams.
2) Girls pushed and shoved.
3) Nope, I can't feel the air-conditioner.

Okay, I wouldn't push ALL the blame to the organizers. It takes a lot of effort to organize an event so big, but the no. of stalls is just wayyyyyyyyyy too many. I suppose it's time for them to rethink about the no. of stalls they wanna open up..

The 3 of us left Pit Building in around 20 mins (?). Apparently, all 3 of us cannot shop while getting squeezed on all sides. However, we had an enjoyable time at Dhoby Ghaut! We camwhored and took multiple shots, laughing so hard that strangers around us stared. We get that all the time ;)

I went through all the albums of the netballers on Facebook this morning and it made me reminiscence about all the crazy time we spent together. How emotional we got during seasons and how natural Celine and Alicia are when it comes to giving jiaobins. I really miss those times when I chase after Valerie everywhere and hopping onto her back (I suppose her knees in a bad shape now). I miss duck-walking along the semi-circle and rolling a third across the court as a punishment during trainings. I miss making the 'Whoosh' and I miss Ms Huang's smile. I miss taking bimbo-tic and jump shots. I miss everything about the team. Now that I've graduated from the school's netball team the sudden gush of memories flashed on my mind and I cried and smiled. I'm thankful, very very thankful that I've transferred to AMKSS and thankful that Mr Ong 'discovered' me. I love you girls. No matter what, we will never ever lose contact alright? :')

Spent my weekend hopping down town with balloons tied around wrists and squealing at the sight of the cute little marimos. I wouldn't say that I stopped studying completely, but I would consider myself "given up hope for MYE" as I know very well that I am not prepared at all. Expecting a pass in all subjects is the most I can wish for. I know I am being too complacent about examinations, but I just can't force myself to study overnight or wake up in the middle of the night just to force some information into my highly nonabsorbent brain.

Whatever it is, I will do my best in taking in whatever I can and let things be. Just don't screw Os up. Seems like a great idea; stress-free and just right for non-muggers like me. Gotta sleep! Aiming to wake up at 9 30AM tomorrow to revise. Goodnight owls :)

Anyway, the crocodile farm is boring because the crocodiles don't move and the place and old and small. I can't believe that this is the ONLY crocodile farm in Singapore. I miss the one at Jurong :(

My hair's condition is getting worse each day. I need my Orange Essential!!

Common misconception: I dyed my hair.

NO. I did not. I have natural brown hair (some claim that it's reddish brown). I abuse it and it is getting browner everyday.

It was my first time going out for an informal 'event' with make-up. It was not obvious because i kept telling Cindy "I don't want it to be too obvious!!", "A little bit can already!". Cindy was kind enough to accommodate me. Thanks sweetheart!!

I guess time passes really fast when you are happy. A year passed since the first day Guowen asked me to be his girlfriend in the car (smart move because i had nowhere to run). We do have misunderstandings and disagreements here and there, but I'm proud to say that those usually last for 5 minutes.

Thank you for tahan-ing my temper and my violence. Even though I dislike most of the things you like to do, you still continue to care and encourage me unconditionally. Woke up early on Saturday w/o the help of the alarm clock. Managed to iron some clothes and turn up at Chinatown on time (finally, I'm not late) for some shopping with the girls.

The outrageous weather did not stop us from marching towards OM. It was very packed at first, but they started to restrict the number of people in the tiny place. Oh, so efficient ^^ All of us got out of the store with paper bags in our hands.

I can't say that I'm happy or unhappy with my buy. It was rather sudden because Ah Jong made me kan jiong by pointing frantically at the long queue, then pointed at Ah Yan who was paying already and boom. I paid for my top. HAHA.

Anyway, we had a great time, shuffling and dancing in the alleys of Chinatown. Can't wait to meet them again!

Went to Esplanade after we separated, as I suffered a sudden emotional breakdown. I guess I fell in love with the library there. Gotta thank god for giving me such an understanding boyfriend :')

I have been leading a kinda solitary-like life nowadays - going home straight after school to sleep and stare at my fat little rodents. My parents are hardly home in the afternoon anyway.

Watched World Invasion with 12 others at Cineleisure yesterday. The ending was predictable, but the effects was great. What happened:

Boarded the bus, then realised that i didnt bring my DSLR's battery.
Panicked.
Managed to get Xenia to collect for me. BIG THANKS TO DADDY TANs.
Ran around the field, trying to fly my kite.
Got mud on my shoes and my hair was in a mess.
Dropped my Fisheye's viewfinder into the reservoir.
Got pissed off with Mr Ong for ignoring my pleads.
Waited at the 'shore' with Cris until it was finally reachable.
Was touched when i saw half the class worrying for me (and my viewfinder).
Am thankful to have Cris with me :)

This could have been a nice picture if my face wasnt so gek sai.

Went to Marina Barrage with Qianyan, Qingyi, Wendelyn and Enqi after that.

Went home with a sun burnt face. :(

I have to apologize for the poor quality pictures. I'm still trying to master the manual mode on my DSLR. :/

USS WITH THE TEAM!!!

Alright, just 1 picture here to keep you guys in suspense :P

Why you guys should be jealous about this trip:
1) We went as 'almost' a team. (Meiping, Bibi and Valerie couldnt make it. :c)
2) The queues were VERY short. We waited for around 5 mins for each ride, we even went up immediately for some rides. There was only once where we waited for 20mins.
3) As a result, I went on the:
Rapid Waters (?) - thrice,
Battlestar Galactica Cylon - twice, Human - once,
Revenge of the Mummy - thrice
Enchanted Airways - twice
Aiya, we covered 99% of rides and shows.
4) We met many many hot angmoh guys, from toddler to grandpa, all also hot. HAHAHA

Neh, shall not list more. It was just an awesome day spent over at Universal Studios. I was so happy, laughing in the toilet, on the roller coasters, under sun. I even got my overpriced potion-like water bottle! Happy happy girl today! ^^

The reason why i love film cameras - the pictures they produce are always so unexpectedly beautiful.

I love the thrill, when waiting for my roll of film to be developed and converted to a disc. I was so fascinated by the pictures my Fisheye gave me this time round. Aww ♥

Gonna buy a few more rolls of film when $$ permits.

HAPPY BELATED VALENTINE'S!!

Received a lotsa chocolates (gave out a lot too!) and a balloon from Joey! Ahhhh. Valentines is just another day for us to eat openly around the school ground without getting caught. I guess, even if you do, you can shrug it off by saying "Cher, it's Valentines, never mind lah. -winks-"

Met Guowen after my Chemistry tuition. After rushing me to get my supper, he surprised me with an ice cream cake from Swensen's in his car! How sweet right? Awhile after, he complaint about different the cake looks in the magazine compared to in real life. Geez, i dont think my boyfriend's 22 this year. Haha!

Have been rather stressed about Math.. And school. I really want this year to pass quickly. I hate this kind of stress. I wish some teachers can just quit scolding students for half the lesson and just fucking teach. I get annoyed by repeated reminders, warnings or whatsoever. I think i am giving myself stress too :( I'm no longer as optimistic! Zhe me ban? Hmm.. Let me think about it and i will get back to you guys.
